Easter

We had a wonderful Easter this year! Katie is really starting to understand what Easter is all about and was asking a lot of questions- It is amazing how much she has learned about Jesus this year! She is a little sponge and is really taking it all in.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Easter morning.












We had my family over for lunch Easter Sunday after church, and then we had a little egg hunt. Ellie caught on quickly and Katie did let her get a few eggs!

Ellie's First Birthday!

Ellie's birthday was so much fun! We had a small party at home with family, with a hot pink and zebra theme- Ellie's fav! Ha! Or maybe I just thought it was cute!












Birthday Girl!




Ellie had a lot of fun eating and playing and had a lot of help opening presents from Katie, Mason, & McKinley! She was not really sure about her cake- I don't think she liked getting messy! Such a girl!

The celebration continues!

For Katie's actual birthday we took a trip to Dallas. We went to the Dallas Aquarium, and had a little party at Aunt Wendy's house. Jason's mom was in the country at the time, so it was fun that she was there!

Katie's Birthday & Ellie's Baby Dedication

I'm a little late with the next few posts about Birthdays & Baby Dedication...just now getting around to posting! All of this happened at the end of February and in March!
Since Katie & Ellie's birthdays are only one week apart, we spent most of March partying! We had Katie's birthday party the weekend before her birthday at the place she takes gymnastics- it was great! They decorate, set up, serve the cake and drinks you bring and clean it up! They even have helpers to watch and entertain the kids during the party!












The day after Katie's party, we had Ellie's baby dedication at church. We had a lot of family come to the dedication- we are so thankful for all of them and how much they love our babies! We are also thankful for our church and the great programs we have there!
